Day 102

Day 102

So here it is…my last day in London….whoa

As everyone is making dinner I am writing this because I am not hungry…if you know me at all you know that if I am not hungry something must be wrong.

We just said goodbye to the first two people in our group and I must say that I didn’t like it.

I try to rationalize the situation…reminding myself that I go to school with Stacy and Steve and Drew. That Rachel and Jamie are from Kansas...what about the others?

As I sit at my empty desk I stare at my empty walls and at my very full suitcases. I remember when the room looked like this before.

I was standing in the middle of my room staring at the two beds trying to figure out which one I wanted to pick. I was convinced that if I picked the wrong bed that when my roomie came in she would be pissed that I took the bed she wanted. I was so unsure about it that I took a video of the room and sent it to my mom so that we could confer about the situation.

That all seems so long ago now…

Today I took my last tube ride. It was on the District line from Westminster to Sloane Square. I walked down King’s Road alone after stopping in a store and looked at the stores around me. I remember on September 7th…my first day…walking down Kings and marveling about everything that surrounded me. Everything seemed so different now…so many memories.

So here I am…my journey is complete. I have turned in my last two papers and today we had our play reading (which went amazingly!!)

I finally got my picture in front of Big Ben and it couldn’t be any more perfect

Alright so here is the deal. Im going to leave things like modern dance out and the fashion show etc. Also…I cant rank all the shows in one list. So I will rank the musicals and the plays in separate lists…deal with it.

The line indicates where the shows started to get bad

So there it is and here we are. I leave London in a little over 12 hours and I am so excited to go home. I am ready to sit on the couch, watch some Christmas movies and laugh as Coco barks at her own reflection in the fireplace.

I am not ready to say goodbye to my friends but then…who ever is.
