As I am officially in the single digits of counting down to London I think its time to officially explain what’s going to go down here for the next 110ish days. Till now this blog was about getting ready for study abroad and all the things that have been stressing me out. But now is the fun part.

I have dreamed of studying abroad since…forever (and by forever I mean since middle school though I called it exploring time back then lol). If there is one thing that consumes my life more then any other thing it is theatre and even now I cant even conceive of how amazing this semester intensive of solely theatrical training is going to be.

I have the perfect schedule which includes being an intern at a theatre in London. Which theatre I’m not sure but once my interviews are all done ill fill you in! I have found the most perfect voice teacher and I cant wait to start lessons with her. I’m very excited to learn European/British approaches to acting and voice.

However, this semester is so much more then just learning about theatre. According to the 100000 pamphlets I had to read previous to embarking on this journey I am going to learn about myself as well.

I have so many amazing things planned for this semester already that I can’t wait to start sharing them with everyone. From Fashion Week, the West End, riding the Hogwarts Express in Scotland, to Seeing Pemberly and the other filming locations of Pride and Prejudice, seeing the red carpet for Harry Potter, Shopping and so much more.

I am so excited to start this journey and I’m even more excited that I get to share it with all of you in just 9 days.

12 days till London

It is officially down to the wire! This time two weeks from now i will have already finished my first day in London!

Things are coming together quite well and i only have a few more things left on my to do list! However, the last week has been very hectic and so i'm still recovering from that. My computer died and i lost everything. All the research and notes i had done about possible trips as well as my to do list and everything i needed to do when i arrived in London are gone. So i have to re do all of that. ICK!

On the other hand the last 5 days have been heaven! Mom decided to take an impromptu trip to DISNEY WORLD! Neither of us has been and it was amazing! I could live without the intense humidity that makes my hair look like Monica's in The One in Barbados, and i could live without sweat pouring out of my body the second i get outside. Overall it was wonderful and i would love to go back preferably in the winter.

I'm starting to get together the first episode of my youtube show about london. I will hopefully post it right before i leave. I plan to write in here every other day if not every day when i get there. Then my vlog will be once a week.

As a little treat here is a picture of the dorm i will be staying in. Its very tall!

25 days till london

25 days...i can't believe it! When i look at the number it seems so close but in actuality it feels pretty far away.

There are still quite a few things to get done though not as many as during the beginning of the summer.

I almost have the packing situation handled. By handled i mean...i have no idea how to fit all my stuff even though i keep taking things away. I mean winter is my favorite season so i'm thoroughly excited to leave dante's inferno to go somewhere cool and wintery. Though actually when you think about the deepest level of hell was frozen and cold. Anyway, while i'm excited and i hate summer and summer clothes, i do admit that its a lot easier to pack clothes for summer.

Even if i only bring 11 tops which is less then 2 weeks worth of tops it takes up so much space cause they're all warm sweater type clothing...which i love...but currently find frustrating in this process.

I have three big things to report!!! I will name them in their ascending levels excitement!

3. I bought an external hard drive! Which probally doesn't seem that exciting...but you're wrong cause it is. PLUS he's cute

I have decided to name him Thorr! Thorr will be traveling to london with me to back up all my pictures and documents and things as i explore! Thorr is so adorable!

2. I just got an e-mail from the IES center and i have interviews with TWO THEATRES when i get there. I'm not sure how many other people got but i think it has to be a good sign that i have more then one theatre interested in me as an intern. So i will have to keep you updated as to where i end up and what i end up doing. It's going to be crazy interning for a theatre in London.

1. I literally cant believe i could wait even 2 days to tell this to the world...well actually i couldn't i posted it all over facebook the moment it was all set.

So about a month ago i found out that i will be in london for fashion week!!!! Since then i have been investigating how to get tickets to one of the shows. After much research i realized unless i suddenly become an a-list celebrity or i'm hired by vogue to be a fashion writer in the next month that won't happen.

THEN the most amazing discovery occurred. I found something called Fashion Weekend!!! Which is the weekend and ending event of fashion week. For a small fee you can go and see a catwalk show of multiple designers which is even better because before i would have only been able to see one. Then i get to go SHOPPING for designer clothes all at 70% or more off. AND because i bought a special package i get a goodie bag full of designer items!!!!!!

So basically i'm freaking out super excitedness. Its going to be the most epic thing EVER!!! So it will totally have its own blog post about it.
