36 Days till london

So the problem with practicing the art of packing is that while it puts into perspective the fact that i don't have the room to bring all that i want to bring... that still doesn't make me want to get rid of anything

PLUS i still have some laundry to do so there is still some more clothes left. So i have decided that once everything i'm bringing is clean i will just have to lay it all out and make the cuts. Except for shoes because i need them all. Well i mean i don't NEED them but fashionably i do. Besides 8 pairs isn't that many. ok yes it is. but i can't help it

I got my visa approved..huzzah!!! So all i have left to do in my preparations for london is buy some dress pants for my internship and some dark wash jeans. OHHH and i have to figure out if my computer has an ethernet PC card (whatever the crap THAT is)...and plug adaptors...and my allergy stuff for 4 months...OK OK I HAVE QUITE A BIT TO DO!!!

But its all GREAT!!!! I'm going to go to london in 36 days (which is a day early). So i'll be able to get my phone, move into my room...AND go SHOPPING!!! By shopping i mean go to victoria station where "Next" is so i can get the peacoat i have been lusting after for mucho months! Not that i dont like my current peacoat. Who wouldn't love a coat with only one button that hasn't fallen off and holes in various spots.

My future peacoat is so pretty!!!! When i buy it, i will take pictures of it in all of its glory. I already have the perfect hat to go with it. Well by have i mean i stole this really adorable hat my mum has that she never uses. It was lonely... it needed a nice head to sit on

43 Days till London

Its amazing how much drama can happen within a 12 month period...but preparations for london are underway

My new camera is coming today or on monday!!!! I am legit so excited!!!



I made a list of all the things i need to do before i leave for london.... its 2 pages long
So i will have to get on that

I can't believe that in 43 days i'll be jumping over the pond. My posts then will of course be much more interesting. WIth royal sightings and lots of shopping fun.

speaking of shopping ... have i told you yet that i'm going to be in london for FASHION WEEK!!!! I'm basically freaking out. My new goal in life is to get a ticket to one of the shows... it could happen

In a week or so i'm going to do a test pack...and see where i am when it comes to packing my things for london. I am hopeful but with all my shoes it could be tricky!

47 Days till London

I cant believe that there are only 47 days left till i leave for London. It seems so far away... until i think of all the things i need to go before i leave and then all of the sudden it feels as though there isn't enough time.

So i saw a picture of my future dorm and the closet is a joke. But maybe it's bigger in person and the picture is just a misrepresentation. I've been narrowing down my list of stuff I'm bringing and i think i've been doing pretty well.

I no longer have a job which is bittersweet. The job was...well interesting.... but now i have no income which is a problem for someone who is trying to save up for london.

Before i leave i am most looking forward to the weekend before i leave because...

I come back from London on December 18th which is only a week before christmas and it seems stupid to put up all the decorations around the house for just a week. So before i leave for london we are decorating the house (inside only of course lol) for Christmas!!!! So that way it'll be all ready when i come home. Mom thinks this idea is ridiculous, but she's still going along with it so IM SUPER EXCITED. I love christmas decorations so much so ill be sure to post pictures

For now there really isn't too much to post. Nothing is definite in the schedule and so when i know otherwise ill be sure to tell you all...if there is an "all"...i could be writing to the air
